Author of Paisaje Ulterior (Common Books, Oxford); co-founder of Red de Periodistas Venezolanas, an organization advocating for gender equality among women journalists in Venezuela and creator of Malas, a newsletter on feminist and gender-diverse organizing in Latin America and El Sucio Editorial, a fanzine editorial of Venezuelan art and poetry.

• Growth Director for Caracas Chronicles (August 2024 - 2026)

  • Oversee grant monitoring and applications to secure funding for investigative projects at Caracas Chronicles. Manage external communications, ensuring audience growth and engagement through strategic messaging. Lead the creation of social media videos and graphic content to enhance visibility and interaction.

• Latin America Editor for Global Voices (January- July 2024)

  • Oversee editorial strategy and content production focused on Latin America, ensuring high-quality reporting and analysis. Managed a network of contributors, translators, and media partnerships, commissioning and editing articles that align with Global Voices’ vision. Coordinate coverage of key regional issues, maintain editorial consistency, and expand the publication’s reach across Latin American audiences.

• Social Media Team Lead for Global Voices (June 2023- ) 

Oversaw the planning, implementation, and execution of strategic internal and external communications. Managed a core team of four creators and coordinated a network of over 70 journalists, analysts, and specialists. Led resource assessments to ensure timely production of deliverables while overseeing content commissioning, including articles, interviews, and expert commentary. Approved all editorial content and visuals, managed external and social media communications, and developed workplace protocols. Additionally, handled key administrative responsibilities to ensure seamless operations.

● Editor and Communications Manager for Cinco8 and Caracas Chronicles digital media in English and Spanish (June 2018- January 2023) 

Responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing strategic internal and external communications, coordinating weekly work tasks, managing a core team of 7 creators, and a wallet of more than 70 journalists, analysts, and specialists; assessment of resources and production of deliverables on time; commission of articles, interviews, or comments from our team; approving all editorial content and images, and managing our external and social media communications; creation of protocols for the workplace; administrative duties. 

● Media Analyst for Global Voices international media (May 2020 and December 2022) ○ Responsible for following established guidelines and gathering relevant data for the CMO Observatory. Monitored social media and analyzed it through context interpretation. Wrote publications on findings.
